OLD boyband Blue are feeling … well, blue … after songs from their comeback album were leaked online.
The group are working on new material to be released next year.
But two demos Don’t Worry About It (very polished Eighties electrosynth R&B) and Better Me Than You (tougher, with live drums and acoustic guitar) have been leaked on an internet site.
The boys – hoping to make the kind of comeback Take That enjoyed – were furious.
On his twitter account, Simon Webbe wrote: “Just found out Blue demo has been leaked on to YouTube, not cool.
“People who do that sort of thing have no respect for the writer, producer, Blue and most of all music … it’s straight stealing … ” Lee Ryan, who will release his second album later this year, added: “It sucks that Blue’s new songs are out there already.
“It really ruins the anticipation and excitement of music and I feel this is very sad.”
Meanwhile Duncan James, now a judge on Five’s Don’t Stop Believing, was confused as to how the leak had occurred. He said: “Found out that some of the new Blue demos have leaked out on to the net and don’t understand how.”
Antony Costa also tweeted, claiming he was “gutted”.
Fans were split on how they felt about hearing the new songs.
Cristy Loves Sammy said: “I wanna thank you deeply from my heart because you made me believe again in the Blue comeback, it really means a lot to me.”
But Klauklo wasn’t so happy, writing: “You should delete those two Blue demo songs. The guys were actually pretty confused about this and didn’t expect their demos to be published all of a sudden.”
Blue’s R&B sound was a departure from most UK boybands. They split in 2005 after three No.1 albums and selling 15million records.
Since they split they’ve kept in the limelight. Simon has had two top 20 albums, while Lee has tried acting.
Duncan’s solo career flopped and he went into TV presenting.
Antony has tried his hand at acting and, like Simon, was on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!

DON’T Stop Believing judge Duncan James would never want to see his daughter on the Channel 5 talent show.
The Blue singer revealed five-year-old Tianie-Finn is a huge fan of the singing and dancing reality contest.
But he wouldn’t like her to follow him into a “lonely” showbiz career.
The bisexual hunk, 32, said: “My little girl loves anything with singing and dancing.
“But it’s a hard and at times lonely business. I’d like her to do a normal job where she uses her brain.”
